Code Of Ethics

As security officers, our fundamental duty is to serve Security Rangers’ clients; to safeguard clients’ lives and property; to protect the client against deception, oppression or intimidation, and against violence or disorder, and to respect the rights of all residents and business people in Queensland.

We will keep our private life unsullied as an example to all; maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn or ridicule; develop self-restraint; and be constantly mindful of the welfare of others. Honest in thought and deed in both our personal and professional life. We will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of Security Rangers. Whatever we see or hear of a confidential nature or that is confided to us in our official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty.

We will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence our decisions. We will enforce Security Rangers policies, procedures and regulations courteously and appropriately without fear or favour, malice of ill will, never employing unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities.

We recognise Security Rangers company identification as a symbol of company faith, and we accept it as a trust to be held so long as we are true to the ethics of Security Rangers.

We will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals.
